摘要
Motion control of synchronous motors requires accurate position and velocity signals to realize field orientation. When long stator linear synchronous motor runs at high speed, the position and velocity signals is hard to be obtained by mechanical sensor. To solve this problem, a speed sensorless control method based on extended electromotive force (EEMF) is studied for long stator linear synchronous motor. With the mathematical model of long stator linear synchronous motor, the robustness of speed sensorless control method based on EEMF is analyzed. Simulation and experimental results show that the speed sensorless of EEMF with phase-lock loop (PLL) achieve closed-loop control for the long stator linear synchronous motor at high speed, and this method is robust to the motor parameters. © 2017, The editorial office of Transaction of China Electrotechnical Society.
