摘要
Screening is a fundamental stage in the recycling process - especially in the removal of macro stickies. But, the right screening system combination is just as important as appropriate machines - hole and slot screening systems have to be chosen in the light of the required find macro sticky concentration. To reduce capital cost, the system combination must meet quality requirements without overshooting the mark. This involves the correct choice of machine arrangement, hole and slot sizes, rotors, rotor tips and consistencies, and requires a high degree of knowledge and experience. This article will focus on the arrangement of screening systems rather than on the effect of single machine parameters on screening behaviour.
