摘要：

The maintenance free sealed lead-acid military batteries are described. These batteries using gas recombination technology and thin pure lead plates prove the answer to the need of modern armies for high performance batteries operating in extreme conditions. Recombination electrolyte batteries are used in emergency power supplies, utility switch tripping and numerous other applications. The adaptability of the technology to new and different applications is demonstrated.
