摘要
The crashworthiness of clamped rectangular plates under rigid-wedge impact was discussed based on the simplified analysis method in this paper. The plastic deformation of a plate was divided into four axialsymmetry parts, the deformation of which used parabola function. The formula of impact force between the rigid-wedge and the plate was obtained by using the simplified method. The calculation results of the simplified analysis method show good agreement with the experimental records, and that the simplified analysis method can well predict crashworthiness of clamped rectangular plates under wedge impact. © 2021, Editorial Board of Journal of Ship Mechanics.
