摘要
Volcanic reservoirs are very hard to be identified on seismic data due to their complicated rock facies and different compositions. Based on seismic response identification from volcanic facies, we present in this paper volcanic crater identification in Huoshiling formation, Wangfu Depression, Songliao Basin by seismic approaches. Using approaches such as structure-oriented filter, multi-window dip scanning, and pseudo acoustic curve reconstruction provided by GeoEast and other tools, we predict successfully volcanic reservoirs and conduits, and sculpt craters. Applications show that this approach offers a good solution to volcanic reservoir prediction in this area.
