摘要
The MS 6.7 strong earthquake and subsequent aftershocks hit Meinung area in Kaohsiung of China on February 6th, 2016, which affected a wide area in southern Taiwan. In order to analyze the seismic damages of reinforced concrete frame structure in Meinung earthquake sequence, the filed survey was taken in southern Taiwan. Firstly based on the ground motion data of five seismometer stations, the main characteristics of the peak ground velocity, pulse properties and Fourier spectra were analyzed respectively. Secondly the characteristics of the seismic damages were analyzed from five aspects, including beam, column, infilled wall, non-structural member and liquefaction of foundation soil. Finally based on the field investigation and seismic damage analysis, some suggestions for the seismic design of buildings were provided from four aspects, including near-fault pulse-like ground motion, the prevention of liquefaction soil, seismic concept design, seismic isolation and shock absorption technology. © 2016, Editorial Office of China Civil Engineering Journal.
