摘要
The microphysical and chemical nature of aerosol particles that form cloud elements in cirrus clouds are studied. The cloud elements are evaporated, and the resulting residual aerosol particles are counted, sized and sampled on filters for subsequent chemical analysis. A time series of residual particles larger than 20 nm diameter corresponding to the element number concentration are observed.
