Characteristics of warm compaction in powder metallurgy and its new developments

摘要
This paper outlined its technical characteristics and new developments of warm compaction, for example, warm flow compaction, heat-die compaction, etc.. It was pointed out that conventional warm compaction might be replaced by heat-die compaction on account of its simples procedures and lower compaction temperature in the future. And heat-die compaction, whose representative was AncorMax D processing, would be a very promising method for high-density PM parts.
