摘要
The effect of ultraviolet (UV) radiation on the surface, dielectric and structural properties of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) was investigated. Dielectric spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared and contact angle measurement were used to follow the changes after UV exposure. Blood-clotting were evaluated by activated partial thromboplastin time (PTT), prothrombin time (PT) and international normalized ratio (INR). The topography of the irradiated samples was studied by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Results of the dielectric measurements revealed an increase in the dielectric constant and decrease in the dielectric loss of UV irradiated films. PT, PTT and INR values were prolonged after UV exposure. © 2019 Huthig GmbH. All rights reserved.
