Low-temperature dynamics of domain boundaries in weak ferromagnets

The nonlinear and multidimensional supersonic dynamic of domain boundaries in weak ferromagnets - orthoferrites and FeBO3 - is studied experimentally at low temperatures in magnetic fields much lower than the spin-flop field. A qualitative physical model of the phenomena observed is presented. An elastically induced spin-flop mechanism of magnetization reversal accompanied by a nonstationary motion of domain boundaries is found out and researched, the motion velocity appearing to be much above the limiting velocity of their stationary motion.
