摘要
Due to pulse characteristics of near-fault ground motion, structural seismic response subjected to near-fault ground motion is different from far-field ground motion. Firstly, three types of ground motions including near-fault pulse, near-fault non-pulse and far-field ground motions are selected, andthe difference of characteristic parameter is analyzed by variance analysis method. Secondly, using a typical two-span curved bridge as an engineering example, the multi-scale finite element model is established to simulate the nonlinear history time responses subjected to three different types of ground motions respectively, and the responses of girder, pier and bearing of bridge are compared. Finally, the influence of near-fault ground motion on seismic response of curved bridge is analyzed, and the correlations between ground motion intensity indices and maximum responses of curved bridges are studied. The results show that the peak ground displacement(PGD), the ratio of peak velocity, and the peak acceleration of three types of ground motions are obviously different. The seismic response of curved bridge is quite strong under the action of near-fault ground motion with velocity pulse characteristic, easily leading to unseating, pier and bearing damage of bridge. The correlation among peak ground acceleration (PGA), peak ground velocity (PGV) and the maximum displacement response is best, whereas the correlations of displacement-related intensity indices such as PGD and the root-mean-square displacement (drms) are highly linear with the maximum bending moment response. © 2018, Editorial Department of JVMD.
