摘要
Fly ash is utilized as an active agent to tungsten inert gas welding of Q235 steel, and the impact on flow behavior of molten pool and the microstructure and performance of weld is investigated. The spreading area on Q235 steel after welding is tested. In the molten pool, the content of tungsten particles from different places is determined by point scanning. The morphology, microstructure and performance of joint are observed and tested. The results show that the depth to width ratio of welded joint increases and the microstructure refines. The flow direction of molten pool changes, flowing from the edge to the center. The microhardness of welded joint increases, the wear resistance and corrosion resistance enhance, and the impact absorbing energy of welded joint also improves. © 2017, Editorial Board of Transactions of the China Welding Institution, Magazine Agency Welding.
