摘要
The influence of rice husk ash (RHA, 20% and 40%, mass fraction) on the early hydration (hydration heat, hydration degree) of calcium aluminate cement was investigated by calorimetry, differential thermal-thermogravimetry and scanning electron microscopy, respectively. The results indicate that compared to other samples, the substitution of 20% RHA contributes to the maximum compressive strength within 28 d (1, 3, 14, 28 d). The addition of RHA accelerates the hydration evolution of calcium aluminate cement within 1 d, and improves the hydration degree of cement clinker. The substitution of 20% RHA results in an improvement of around 20% in hydration degree of calcium aluminate cement after 3 d. © 2016, Editorial Department of Journal of the Chinese Ceramic Society.
