The effect of monomer content; the amount of dispersant; pH value and ball milling time for which mullite reinforced aluminum chromium phosphates composite ceramics gelcasting rheological properties of the slurry was discussed in this paper. The mechanical properties and microstructure of sintered ceramic samples by gelcasting were investigated. The result indicated that low viscosity mullite reinforced aluminum chromium phosphates composite ceramics slurry with 53vol% solid loading can be obtained when the pH value is 9; the amount of dispersant for solid mass fraction is 0.48%; ball milling time is 8 h; monomer content is 14wt%. This materials were analyzed by SEM; mechanical testing methods; micro-hardness tester and vector network analyzer. Compared with the performance parameters and microstructure of products; the properties of mullite reinforced aluminum chromium phosphates composite ceramics prepared by gelcasting are better than one by dry pressing;
