摘要
The dynamic response of a forest fire model with immune trees to an oscillatory variation of the input parameter was studied. Second-order irreversible phase transitions driven by an oscillatory parameter were found. The critical edge between an active state with fire fronts and an absorbing state where the fire becomes extinguished depends on the amplitude and the period of the harmonic input. All irreversible transitions were found to belong to the universality class of directed percolation.
