摘要：
This paper suggests appropriate curves to model the volume of Easter eggs, apples and other three-dimensional shapes found in nature. Whilst o¡ering a practical method to ¢nd their density and show why apples bob, there are also extension ideas on how to develop this modelling to surface areas. © The Institute of Mathematics and its Applications 2003.
