VPK Packaging plans to boost waste-based containerboard capacity from 280,000 tonnes/yr to 460,000 tonnes/yr at its mill in Oudegem, near Dendermonde, Belgium. VPK will carry out the project in two phases. The company will increase PM 7's waste-based fluting capacity. It will then boost PM 6's testliner capacity. The company plans to select suppliers for the revamp in 2003 and to begin the overhaul in 2004.
