The carbon fiber (CF) market has increased annually by an average of 11.1% since 2013. This is a fast-growing material which finds application in a number of sectors. In 2019, 65-70 0/o of the market was dominated by the aerospace, automotive and wind energy sectors and demand is still growing (Fig. 1). The application of carbon fiber and carbon composites within a variety of markets and applications is increasing.
