Comparison of accounting theory-based methods for transmission payment calculation in electric power market

In electric power marker,it's popular to allocate transmission payment according to the influence degree of users. Several methods to calculate transmission payment based on the accounting theory are introduced and analyzed,such as post stamp method,contract route method, distribution factor method,flow tracing method and so on. The Bialek's flow tracing method and cost flow method are compared theoretically,which are applied in a five-bus system to calculate, the transmission payment to generators. Results show that the cost flow method is simple and effective with less steps and small cumulative error.
