Detection of trace neonicotinoid insecticides in water by on-line solid phase extraction-ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-triple quadrupole tandem mass spectrometry

Seven kinds of Neonicotinoid insecticides, dinotefuran, acetamiprid, clothianidin, thiacloprid, imidacloprid, nitenpyram and thiamethoxam in groundwater were determined by on-line solid phase extraction- ultra-high performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry. After filtration by filter membrane, HLB cartridge was selected to enrich and purify water samples. The analytes were separated on ACQUITY UPLC BEH C18 column and quantified by tandem mass spectrometry. The linear correlation coefficients of neonicotinoid insecticides were higher than 0.99 in the concentration range of 5.0-200 ng/L; the limits of detection were 0. 30-2. 92 ng/L; the relative standard deviations ( RSDs) were less than 10%. The proposed method can meet the ultra-trace analysis requirements of the neonicotinoid insecticides in the waters samples. © 2021, Youke Publishing Co.,Ltd. All rights reserved.
