摘要
A computer program has been developed in C Language under UNIX environment for bituminous mix design by Marshall method. The design values for each parameter are calculated from the best-fit curve based on least squares principles. The program also gives comparative results in tabular form, which show the variation between the observed and estimated values for various design parameters corresponding to the bitumen content of the samples. It is a very powerful tool considering enough knowledge of designer for design of bituminous mix in no time without going for manual calculations, approximations and tedious works for different type of constructions under different conditions/ situations where mix design is required. This package does not give any indication regarding the changes if desired values are not achieved as per specification such as material types, grading quality of binder and filler materials.
