摘要
The rail corrugation on the track using the Egg fastener becomes a serious problem on several operating lines of Beijing metro in recent years. The investigations and field measurements show that the corrugation is mainly induced by the resonance vibration in the train/track system at 200-400 Hz. And the damping on the Egg fastener track in 200-400 Hz range is not sufficient to suppress the resonance vibration. To suppress the vibration of rail, the Tuned Rail Damper (TRD) was installed on the rail web to provide effective damping on the Egg fastener track. And a test was carried out on Yizhuang line of Beijing metro to evaluate the effectiveness of suppressing rail vibration. The track decay rate and the pass-by acceleration on the rail were measured before and after the TRD installation. The measurement results show that TRD is an effective treatment for increasing the decay rate and reducing the vibration of rail on the Egg fastener track. © 2016, Nanjing University of Aeronautics an Astronautics.
