China welcomes the world

In November 2003, the American and Chinese scrap industries came together in a formal setting to discuss their common interests and issues. At the conference, speakers from China, North America, and Europe described the scrap markets in different parts of the world, reviewed the status of specific scrap commodities, discussed international trade issues, and looked at environmental regulations, among other topics.
