摘要
In traditional magnetic gradient meter, the non-homologous of excitation signals of two independent magnetic fluxgates reduces the accuracy of magnetic gradiometer. To address this issue, this work designs an even-order harmonic flux gate magnetic gradient meter in the same source mode. By taking the advantage of the homologous of the excitation signals, the accuracy of magnetic gradient calculation can be improved. Firstly, the theoretical output models of the homology and non-homology magnetic gradiometer are reconstructed. By fitting the hysteretic loop of the even harmonic fluxgate magnetic core, the parameters in theoretical output model is obtained, and the expression is quantified. Then, by simulating output signals with limited frequency error at a certain range, the error percentages of the output signals of both homologous and non-homologous magnetic gradiometers are 0.001 8% and 0.092%, respectively, and the error of homologous magnetic gradiometers decreases by 98%. Finally, design the homologous even order harmonic magnetic gradiometer is developed to test the output signals of the homologous magnetic gradiometer and the non-homologous magnetic gradiometerwhich consists of two Mag-03 fluxgates, respectively. The magnetic gradient calculation error ranges are 0.6 and 1.3 nT/m within 1 hour. Compared with the non-homologous magnetic gradiometer, the error of homologous magnetic gradiometer decreases by 53.85%. © 2019, Science Press. All right reserved.
