With the ageing of the population increase, the spatial differentiation of population aging led to the elderly population, but has not yet formed perfect ageing community, also makes the spatial distribution of the elderly population and the elderly service facilities layout uncoordinated, a large number of elderly people have more leisure time, in addition to living, medical and others material needs of life, they urgently need a wide range of types, convenient and suitable for cultural activities. urban cultural activity center for the elderly is an important part of public buildings and its development and construction are also increasingly concerned. As well as the elderly slow living habits and the current urban development in the fast rhythm incompatible. The urban residents of leisure mode is undergoing tremendous changes. The corresponding leisure mode changes, the planning of the open space also put forward new requirement. This article discusses the Planning and creating process, the Setting process and the Planning elements of the recreational projects in the cities of aging population, aiming to provide potential implementations in urban planning and construction for the aged. © 2017, Taru Publications.
