摘要
Focusing a 3D-oriented product design becomes increasingly important in today’s industry. In the development process of the automotive wiring harness, installation space-oriented 3D-design meets product-oriented 2D-design. By the concept of 3D-Master wiring harness, all needed information of the harness is available inside the 3D-model. Besides a short overview about the digital development and specifics of wiring harness, the concept of 3D-Master wiring harness is explained and its benefits for follow-up processes is shown. © 2018, VDI Fachmedien GmBbH & Co.
