摘要：
The development of software warranties for security and privacy are discussed. A warranty at the object, component, or even application level needed to be considered. It was suggested to automate the software warranty examination and testing to provide software warranties in a reasonable period of time and at an acceptable cost. Warranties software and services need to be augmented with embedded defenses that could notify users if the warranty has been violated.
