摘要
Intelligent welding which is based on automatic welding path planning system and weld seam tracking system is one of the most important part of intelligent manufacturing. And it is known that welding sensing technology is the key to intelligent welding path planning and accurate trac-king. In this paper, the principle and application of welding sensing technology have been reviewed, such as visual sensing, arc sensing, mechanical contact sensing, electromagnetic sensing, infrared sensing and ultrasonic sensing. The development trend of welding sensing technology have been discussed. © 2022, Materials Review Magazine. All right reserved.
