摘要
As the Internet revolution expands worldwide, IP (Internet Protocol) networks will become the mainstream of the communications infrastructure. Carriers need a flexible IP system that can offer a wide range of network services, including robust electronic commerce and real-time image/video transmission. NEC meets these requirements with a solution that emphasizes innovative network node. The IP Switch Router CX5210 in the packet network handles all data traffic with proper QoS (Quality of Service) and offers carrier-class reliability by redundant configuration. It also provides non-stop operation by instant switch to standby systems. Software can also be upgraded without turning off systems. This paper describes its overview and features.
