摘要
The dynamic response and bending failure of stabilizing concrete piles used to stabilize slopes during earthquake were analyzed in centrifuge tests using model piles. The design used a variety of mixture proportions with the compressive and moment strength measured in the laboratory. Modeling scale laws were used to select four kinds of model concrete stabilizing piles. According to modeling scale laws, the corresponding moment compressive strength of the prototype piles 50 times the model piles in section dimension was deduced and validated. Then, two dynamic centrifuge tests were performed on a soil slope reinforced with model concrete piles. The results of one test revealed a crack failure of piles with smaller cross sections during static and dynamic conditions while the other tests with the acceleration of 50 g verified the stabilizing effect and elastic dynamic response of piles with larger cross sections during earthquakes.
