Specific feature of Russian telephone networks development is preservation of analog switching and channel-forming equipment. As a rule, the systems of users channelizing (from 2 to 16 channels) are applied for introduction of new numbers. The holding of North-West Group companies proposes the channelizing systems PGS (Pair Gain System) at the domestic market.
