Kirloskar to build world's largest pumping system

India has a substantial pumping industry with a more than 150 manufacturers serving the requirements of the country's industrial, agricultural and domestic pumping sectors. While many are small to medium size enterprises or subsidiaries of a European or American parent there are a number of sizeable Indian pump manufacturers with an international reputation in their own right.
