摘要
OBJECTIVE: To prepare the composite with different amount of microcapsule and study the repair effect of the composite in rabbits. METHOD: Ethyl cellulose was used as the carrier and plasticizer to prepare the composite and repair of the artificial bone defect in rabbit was monitored. RESULTS: The plasticizer was used as the sustained-release carrier and improved the characteristics of the commercial material. CONCLUSION: The microcapsule was used as the drug carrier and plasticizer simultaneously. 3% microcapsule composite had the better bone-repair characteristics. The drug loaded in the composite had the sustained release profile.
