West Fraser Timber Co. Ltd. and Fraser Papers Inc. plan the sale of a pulp mill in Quebec and half of a venture in an Alberta newsprint mill through investor income trusts. Fraser targeted early 2003 for the restart of the hardwood kraft pulp mill in Berlin, N.H. West Fraser would sell its 50 % interest in the 252,000 mtpy Alberta Newsprint Co. (ANC) to an income trust. Fraser might pursue the same course with its 245,000 mtpy bleached hardwood kraft pulp mill.
