Arca lyiel* and Efe Caglayan** discuss Sisecam Environment Systems project to boost glass recycling in Turkey and to create a resource-efficient circular economy. The circular economy is defined as an economic system that is restorative design. It replaces the end-of-life' concept with restoration, shifts towards the use of renewable energy, alternatively reusing, recycling and recovering materials.
