摘要
The Spray drying process with the droplet-droplet collision was researched by 3D computational fluid dynamics simulation compared with no droplet-droplet collisions. The RNG k-ε turbulence model, liquid evaporating model, and ideal gas equation was adopted. The Lagrangian particle tracking multiphase model was used to calculation. The goal of this paper is to study droplet-droplet collision effect on the variation of averaged values of mean droplet diameter and droplet temperature in the spray dryer, as well as water drops as they travel through the spray dryer.
