摘要
Various polyolefin blends with a broad melting trajectory were investigated, with regard to their intrinsic properties, yarn processability, and melt adhesion properties in the Cornet project known as POMELAD. Their implementation into textile applications was investigated, where structural cohesion was considered an important factor. Sewing yarns were also produced with polyolefin fibers mixed with regular cotton fibers, and showed better seam strength.
