Treatment technique for double-arch highway tunnel with carbon fiber reinforced polymer: A case study

Based on the on-site investigation results of a liner cracking double-arch highway tunnel, the reasons of cracking were analyzed. And the treatment technique with carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) for highway tunnel is discussed. The technological process of the treatment technique is provided. Influencing factors and emphasis of quality monitoring in thetreatment technique were also analyzed. On the basis of above analysis, treatment technique with CFRP was put forward. The supervising data show that surrounding rock and the support are stability. © 2014 ejge.
