A multimedia platform based on cloud computing

摘要
Recently, cloud computing is a popular technology and there are a lot of computing resources in the cloud. That is, cloud computing can provide powerful computing and large storage space for users to get better performance. On the other hand, most of people have owned mobile devices (e.g., smart phones and ipads) and can do a lot of things such as listening to music, watching TV or video, and surfing Internet. In the paper, we will propose a multimedia platform to play multimedia (e.g., video or audio files) by mobile devices, and at the same time, cloud computing can help the multimedia platform more efficient and convenient for users to control and switch the multimedia playing among different equipment (e.g., display devices or speakers). © 2014 ISSN 1881-803X.
