Performance optimization of opportunistic network coding based on congestion control

摘要
To solve the performance restriction of opportunistic network coding in wireless network, the optimization strategies of the COPE (complete opportunity encoding) protocol was researched. An improved scheme of COPE with congestion control for unicast flows was presented by means of the hop-by-hop congestion control and reliable transmission of congestion control protocol CXCC (cooperative cross-layer congestion control). By using the idea of cross-layer design, it replaced the automatic repeat request function in the MAC layer and congestion control function in the transport layer with CXCC, and made CXCC overhear data in wireless channel. Through simulation analysis, the proposed scheme is verified that it can adapt to wireless environment well and effectively increase the throughput of wireless network.
