摘要
Radio-pulse structure is numerically simulated in regions of the simultaneous space-time focusing in plasma described by corank-3 catastrophes. Three-dimensional catastrophes with separable space and time components are considered. Conditions under which such focusings occur are analyzed. A radio pulse envelope at the geometric center of the space focusing is studied. A physical interpretation of the amplitude oscillations, of the growth of the signal in the one-ray region, and of the dependence of the amplitude on multiplicity of the singularity is given. Wave effects associated with the inversion and compression of frequency-modulated pulses as they travel in plasma through focusing regions described by three-dimensional catastrophes are studied.
