摘要：

The usage of burner systems in the electric arc furnace is state of the art. The latest generation of Badische Stahl Engineering's burner technology is the tiltable Virtual Lance Burner (VLB), which was tested at Badische Stahlwerke electric arc furnace no. 2 at the end of 2012. The new system allows to tap new, not yet realized potentials. The paper describes practical experiences with the new tiltable, patented VLB together with the new cooling box design.
