摘要
Network partition is utilized widely for simplifying network structure, facilitating system monitoring and scheduling and effectively alleviating situation of excessive short-circuit current in regional power grid. Therefore, network partition is an inevitable trend in development of large power grid. In this paper, power grid division method based on improved automotive relay is presented. Firstly, based on adjacency matrix and other related knowledge, power network is transformed into topology with nodes as stations and line impedance as path length. Secondly, according to certain rules, the sites near initial station can be found. 500kV/220kV is used as an example to illustrate the analysis. After partition, HV grid turns to backbone grid and the areas are interconnected with connecting lines, so 500kV site is selected as initial station. Thirdly, grid partition supported by each 500kV station can be determined. The proposed method can be implemented with programming and multiple partitions can be carried out simultaneously without repeated solving to improve computation efficiency. Finally, an IEEE 30 node system simulation is performed and a practical power grid is analyzed to demonstrate effectiveness and practicability of the algorithm. © 2016, Power System Technology Press.
