摘要
The methods of preparing polymer suspensions with the particles of varying diameters were analyzed. It is noted that the properties of these particles meet the requirements for medical and biological applications. Polymer suspensions were prepared using emulsifier-free and seed polymerization techniques. The synthetic conditions which provide polymer microspheres satisfying the requirements imposed on these species were elaborated. At all stages of test systems formation in which polystyrene microspheres with the diameter of particles ranging from 0.04 to 2.5 μm were used, the properties of polymer suspensions were comprehensively studied.
