Stall control with local surface buzzing on a NACA 0012 airfoil

摘要
A technique for stall control with local surface buzzing on a NACA 0012 airfoil was presented. In the method, only velocity perturbations vertical to the freestream direction were produced by the motion of the buzzing rod vertical to the flow direction. Results showed an increase in the lift coefficients at poststall angles with increase in the reduced frequency. Improved aerodynamic characteristics including poststall lift and drag were noticed with milder stalling feature.
