摘要
Construction of Zlatoust Steel Works began in 1900. Very important role of the Works was noted during Great Patriotic War. Modern equipment is currently used at the Works. Electric arc furnaces, electroslag furnaces, vacuum-arc furnaces, ladle metallurgy unit, plant for vacuum degassing of steel are applied for producing the high-quality steels. Carbon, tool. corrosion-resistant, alloy steels are made. Metal products are manufactured for automobile, nuclear, spacecrfaft, and other industries. Rolled products are manufactured with preset properties. Modernization of production plants is performed.
