Future depends on how government responds to industry needs

Inspite of the gloomy business environment, Colour-Chem has posted a 23 per cent growth in its profit before tax (Rs 1,416 lakh) for the year ended March 31, 2002, compared to Rs 1,148 lakh recorded in the previous year. This growth has largely been due to the company's improved operational efficiencies.
