Script-based animation of operations

The number and quantity recorded and provided data to completely automated mechatronic special equipment increased steady. As a consequence, intelligent structured and intuitive useable systems, embedded in a holistic operating concept, are required. Even if the operator has to perform only a few actions in general, such a concept should be conserving resources tested and validated before implementation. For imaging the interaction between human and equipment, but especially to describe the equipment itself, the animation of machine movements in virtual reality is useful as an aid. The realistic modeling and testing of the human-machine interface is provided on the basis of machine movements and interactive real or virtual operating elements. © Carl Hanser Verlag, München.
