摘要
Isolatek International, headquartered in New Jersey upgraded to loss-in-weigt (LIW) feeders in 1999 for improved process and quality control. An individual microprocessor-based controller moniters each feeder and the master rate controller interfaces with each individual controller, coordinating the operation of the feeders. The controllers are interfaced with Isolatek's database through PCs, so operators can perform all data recording automatically. This has helped the company to automatically report and track material usages and it also helped in getting ISO 9001 certification.
