摘要
The American women transformed into money makers in the print industry due to several laws and regulations passed by the government, as well as support from the formation of several women's organizations. Denay Day, the senior product manager of the custom resale group, began her carrier in 1978 as accounts receivable clerk for the Adams Business Forms. She stated that at that time clerical position were only ones offered to women. Tammy Stoller, CEO, president and co-owner of Glenwood, Minnesota-based American Diversity Business Solutions (ADBS), has shared her experiences by revealing that at the starting of his carrier her job was quite challenging and was working on commission based. She moved to ADBS in 2004, which is a certified Woman Business Enterprise. She stated that this certification mandates 51 percent of the company to be owned, operated, and controlled by women. ADBS reported independent annual sales of $13 million in 2007 and ranked within the Top 25 of Print Professionals Top 100 Distributors list.
